WHAT IS EVANGELISM?
Evangelism is simply the act of proclaiming the good news of the gospel.  The word evangelism comes from the Greek word, euangelizo, a verb which means "to bring or announce good news." Popular synonyms for evangelism include witnessing and sharing one's faith.

WHY DO IT?
Just like any other spiritual discipline, such as prayer, fellowship, Bible reading, and worship; evangelism is the responsibility of every Christian.  Our Lord's very last words to us were:

Go Into All The World And Preach The Gospel To Every Creature . . .Mark 16:15

We have a responsibility to share the good news of the gospel whenever we have the opportunity.  If we do not point the way, the lost will perish in their sins for all eternity.

HOW DO WE SHARE OUR FAITH? 
There are many ways people share their faith, so perhaps a better question to ask would be, "How does one share their faith biblically and effectively, the way Jesus did?" The answer is in the scriptures.

1. We must use WORDS
2. We must witness in LOVE
3. We must use the LAW

IF EVANGELISM IS SO IMPORTANT, WHY DON'T MORE CHRISTIANS DO IT?

Objection #1: That's not my "gift."
Objection #2: I prefer to use "Lifestyle" Evangelism.
Objection #3: I prefer to use "Friendship" Evangelism.
Objection #4: I am afraid!
