We had our Wild West Days outreach this year on June 13, 2010. We had a
great turn out, and had a lot of fun and fellowship. Most importantly,
people were saved and rededicated their life to the Lord Jesus Christ!
My pastor, Ashley Ellison, has a heart to reach the lost. He decided to put on a "Wild West Days" outreach to draw in the community for some wild west days from the late 1800's. Tent meetings, old cowboy attire, hillbilly attire, good old-time gospel music, skits and more. This is the second year in a row for this event.
I love this event, as I'm the Evangelism Director here. Anytime we draw the community in and preach the gospel to them is a great time. And we had a lot of fun doing it.
Folks from our church were going around and passing out gospel tracts to those who were attending.
