Here's a brief report
about New Year's Eve 2006 in Springfield, Missouri:
Greg, Tim and his wife
Katy, and Moi met at 8 pm, prayed, passed out some Million Dollar Bill and Big Money gospel tracts, as well as some Gospels of John at
the City Utilities bus depot. The lady working there tried to tell us
to leave, but I took out the letter from the City Utilities attorney
that had written Brad St. Clair and showed her we had permission to be
there.
Greg took a young woman
through the good person
test -- in exchange
for a stuffed animal. And then we began walking around to sow seeds (pass out gospel tracts) and talk to
people.
WOW! Cold!! But we
started hopping onto the free Trolley that was shuttling people around to the
various First Night venues. We would pass out tracts to everyone on the
shuttle, or a long line of people getting off -- and amazingly, everyone wanted
what we were handing out.
Then we into the
Convention Center where families were visiting different booths for kids -- face
painting, balloons, inflatable trampolines -- another great place to hand out
tracts.
So we rode the Trolley to
get warm and hand out tracks, then we would get off in front of the Landers
Theater or Gilloz Theater where crowds of people were going in and coming out.
After giving everyone tracts, we would hop the bus again and go to another
venue.
Just great!! People were
happy and friendly. No rowdy drunks. We felt very blessed.
Hundreds of seeds
planted!
