Evangelism Priority

Eight Reasons Why I Don't Share My Faith Video - (6:21)

Evangelism Stats / Info

• Jesus said, "If you love Me, you will keep my commandments" (John 14:15), and His last commandment was "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation." (Mark 16:15)

• 97 percent of the Church has no involvement in any sort of evangelism.

• A survey by Christianity Today found that only 1% of its readers said they had witnessed to someone “recently.”

• According to the late Bill Bright, only 2% of Christians in America actively share their faith with others.

• How is it that so many in the Church can profess to love God yet neglect or even despise evangelism?

• Jesus came to seek and save the lost. This should be our primary responsibility as a Christian.

• 150,000 people die every day in this world. That is almost 2 people per second. It is the responsibility of every Christian witness, not just the pastor or missionaries.

• Will a criminal go to a police station? No. In the same way a sinner won’t normally go to a church, it’s not the most comfortable place for him them to be. It’s up to you and I, as Christians, to witness to them where they are.

• Does the thought of sharing the Gospel with the lost terrify you? Be honest: When is the last time you shared the full Gospel with someone?

• What's keeping you from letting God use you to further His kingdom?

• Most say that they fear rejection or fear not knowing what to say. The Bible says, "Study to show yourself approved, a worker who doesn't need to be ashamed." (2 Tim. 2:15)

• Learn to share your faith simply, effectively and biblically. This website has the resources you will need to learn how.  We will equip you and teach you what to say to boldly witness to anyone you come into contact with.
